CGN’s Unit 1 of Yangjiang NPP Grid-Connected

On December 31, 2013 at 12:40 p.m., CGN’s Unit 1 of Yangiang NPP realizes its first grid connection for trial operation.
Yangjiang nuclear power base, following its precedent Daya Bay nuclear power base, is the second grid-connected nuclear power base in Guangdong Province. The construction of Unit 1, starting from December 16, 2008, for a period of 5 years, is a process involving many key milestones, including civil works, installation, set-up, nuclear fuel loading and unit criticality, etc. Currently the construction of the total six units in Yangjiang NPP is well in line with the schedule.
