CGN Organizes the China-US 5th PSA Workshop

The “China-US 5th PSA Workshop”, hosted by National Energy Administration (NEA) and organized by Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute, was held Suzhou during January 6-10.

The Workshop aims to promote exchange between the experts from both China and the United States based on the current cooperation mechanism. The US representatives are from Department of Energy and Argonne National Laboratory, and the Chinese representatives are from 17 organizations, including NEA, NNSA, Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center, the nuclear power corporations, the nuclear research institutes and universities.

In the Workshop, the participants discussed on the reliability analysis related issues. Especially, Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute, a branch of CGN, made a show of its technical competence in the field of reliability analysis.
