CGN’s Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base Holds “News Release Conference 2013”

On January 20, 2014, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operations & Maintenance Co., Ltd held the news release conference, briefing the performance of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base in the aspects of safe operation, environment protection, international exchanges, nuclear & radiation information disclosure in the year 2013.
In the year 2013 Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base achieved total on-grid electricity up to 44,157GWh, of which 70% is for Hong Kong. As of the end of December 31, 2013, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base has made a record of accumulative output of 482,331GWh, including 189,989GWh exported to Hong Kong.
For better safety in operation, Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operations & Management Co., Ltd carried out safety improvements based on Fukushima incident as well as feedback from the international peers.
